On Monday room 19 and 20 played fun activities inside and outside the classrooms. When we played the games I felt happy. The games were fun and cool. The games were making cardboard ramps bowling making paper airplanes and making cardboard runs and played our new games on our iPads.

Omaru creek

Once upon a time there was an eel called kehu. She lived in omaru creek in the dark gloomy grey water. Omaru creek had a lot of rubbish in the gloomy water. Kehu was feeling so sick because people kept throwing lots of rubbish into the creek. One Beautiful hot afternoon the eel went for a swim in omaru creek. Then she found a frog jumping up and down in omaru creek. Kehu asked the frog can I go on your back so I can find a new home. The frog said yes you can. Suddenly an evil toad came and started to chase kehu and the frog. As the frog was running with kehu the frog found a hiding spot then the toad ran home crying because the toad couldn't find the frog and the eel. Finally the frog and the eel found a nice home with a lot of friendly eels. The eels said come down to the home we have been making all day kehu said ok. The end.

Recount writing

Last week room 19 and 20 drew portraits in our classrooms. First Mrs eadie gave us a huge piece of paper. Next we folded the paper into Quarters. Then we drew our Beautiful faces and our eyes pretty red lips. After that we got to use the lovely Beautiful bright pastels. Finally we got to do the background nice and lovely.
