Icing biscuits

 

Yesterday we made biscuits and then we ate them at morning tea time.

Te wa toi

One beutifiul sunny Monday morning all the fantastic kids from pt England school went to our large hall to watch the teachers do lovely  paintings school stage. First team 1 went on the stage and team 1 drew parts of a lion and made a lion puzzle. Next team 2 went on the stage and  they put a video on for us. They did a competition and when the video was on the teachers talked about themselves and what was special to them. After team 2 team 3 went on the stage and miss king and miss scanlan mrs carruthers and mr Moran also ms Eadie and miss king painted all over mr moran face blue and it was super funny. After that it was team 4's turn on the stage they had a competition to draw Mr Moran. And Mr Moran and mrs parrent were the judges. The teachers only two minutes to paint. When 2 minutes was over mrs parrent and Mr Moran looked at all of the paintings and they picked the winner and the winner was miss sio. Next up was team 5 and the pretendered to be students from pt England school and their teacher was mr wiseman. They drew art coming from their souls. I enjoyed the part when mr wiseman talked weird because it was super funny.

Movement art

Last week on a beautiful Sunny day room 19 and 20 made some colourful movement art because for this term our inquiry is Move your body.  First ms Eadie put us into Partner. Next we took a photo on our iPads. After that cropped it and mrs Carruthers and mrs Eadie printed our photo's. Then we traced around our photo to make 3 other shadow's. Finally we dyed our backgrounds and we stuck our photo's on our backgrounds. And they looked so cool. I thought that I was going to do it wrong but I didn't do it wrong and it was so fun.

Fairy girl narrative

Once upon a time there lived a sparkely fairy and she was a water fairy. She lived in a sparkely pink castle. And there was also a bad witch who lived in a cave in the dark deep forest. And the water fairy had friends. One night she went to her friend Kelly's house And she went to go and pick her up. When they were flying to there other friends house the witch sneaked up on Kelly and the water fairy and the witch quickly grabbed Kelly. Suddenly the witch flew off on her broom. As soon as witch flew off on her broom the water fairy started to cry. The next day the witch through Kelly into a small cage. Then the witch started to make a potion. The  water fairy told the rest of her friends that the witch took Kelly. so they said oh no we have to save Kelly. As soon as they were leaving to save Kelly it started to rain. So they made a small boat with a roof on top. They had to bring some stuff. So they got some spy goggles and a long large rope. So they got on the boat and went to the bad witches cave In the deep dark forest. Finally they got to the witches cave. They  got inside of the cave.  They started to look for Kelly. Then they found Kelly and said Kelly and what and they had to say it again and Kelly looked around her and found them and Kelly said guys what are you doing here. So they said we are here to save you. And the water fairy said where is the key to open the cage so Kelly said it is on top of the cage and the water fairy said I will get the key then. So the water fairy got the key and unlocked the cage. And Kelly was happy that she was out. So she said thank you for helping me get out of the cage and they all said your welcome

Fairy bread

 One raining Monday morning room 19 and 20 made some colourful fairy bread we made the fairy bread in room 20. First mrs Carruthers gave us a napkin. Next Mrs Carruthers gave us a knife then she told one person to open the bread. After that we buttered the bread we put some sprinkles on top. Finally Mrs Carruthers said that we could make another sandwich. This this time we put Nutella on our bread. We put popping candy sprinkles on top of the popping candy. It was soooo delicious.

Antarctic seals

Today I was reading Antarctic seals.

Autumn

Once upon a time there lived a possum called Rosie she had black soft fur and a big white tail. One cold freezing night Rosie was making a lovely and beautiful home. Suddenly a big bird came. The bird found the baby possums. The baby possums ran as fast as they could but they did not run fas enough. So the big bird got the baby possums. When the mother possum came back home with food she started to cry. Then she heard a sound. She followed the sounds and found the baby possums in a huge cave. When mother possum came back home she felt happy.
